SCVO’s policy network connects voluntary sector professionals in Scotland with an interest in policy and public affairs. Our members have access to a highly valued training and events programme and an online community space designed for collaboration and connection. The network is open to anyone in an SCVO member organisation either working in or with an interest in policy.
SCVO’s policy network has been around for over twenty years to offer the sector a space to discuss the rapidly changing world and how to influence it for the better. The network brings together policy professionals and enthusiasts to discuss common issues, build connections and network.
Members can expect in person networking opportunities with fellow members and key stakeholders in government and parliament. We also offer an online community space for members to seek advice, exchange expertise, and share their policy and campaigns work.

Our training and events aim to help you with the skills, knowledge, and connections you need to influence Scotland’s policy landscape. Previous events have included training on the Bills process, how to engage with political party manifestos, opportunities to meet political party researchers and other teams within parliament and government, and election results specials with Professor John Curtice.
