The CIPD Good Work Index is an annual benchmark of job quality in the UK. Each year, CIPD survey more than 5,000 workers from different sectors and occupations about key aspects of their work and employment.
The index measures a wide range of aspects of job quality, including employment essentials, such as job security and mobility, skills, autonomy, and the day-to-day realities of work as experienced by workers themselves, and the impacts on
their health and wellbeing.

The report highlights some variations inthe experiences of private, public and voluntary sector workers.
