Consultation on the key findings and recommendations from the National Parks Review - analysis of consultation responses
In 2008, a strategic review of Scotland?s two National Park Authorities (NPAs) was carried out as part of the Scottish Government?s commitment to ?More Effective Government?. A consultation on the key findings and recommendations from this Review was published by the Landscapes and Habitats Division of the Scottish Government Rural Directorate in November 2008, alongside the Report of the Review, and ran until February 2009. This document constitutes the analysis of the consultation responses. A total of 58 responses were received, comprising 14 responses from individuals and 44 from organisations. Among organisational responses, the largest number of responses received was from organisations within the Scottish voluntary sector.
