Over the last few years, SCVO has been engaging with organisations across the voluntary sector to collect evidence on the issues and barriers faced when accessing and receiving funding.

This extensive resource combines powerful research and evidence with comments and insights from across Scotland's voluntary sector.

The evidence collected here demonstrates the urgent need for Fair Funding – an array of policy asks and principles that we have been calling for since late 2022. SCVO's calls are primarily directed at the Scottish Government; however, the wider principles apply to all funders, including local government and independent funders.
