Covid Aid

Why you should vote for Covid Aid for the People’s Choice Award

In under a year we have achieved a tremendous amount to support those most significantly affected by Covid.

Within a year of launching we have reached more than 100,000 people seeking support through our website, provided one-on-one support to more than 600 people, partnered with a variety of leading health and social care organisations – including the NHS, Asthma & Lung UK, Marie Curie, and Cruse – to provide short courses, Q&A webinars, and information/advice articles and podcasts to our members. Our innovative Support Community is a free-to-access safe space packed with self-management resources and support, its growth led by members.

Based in Scotland, Covid Aid is the UK’s national charity dedicated to supporting those significantly affected by Covid-19. We are here for people throughout the pandemic and beyond.

By building an empowering and caring community, we help anyone who may not have found the right support. We provide a safe space through our Support Community where people's voices can be heard, and they can gain access to support – as well as going on to provide support to those with similar experiences. Our 60 volunteers have provided information, advice, and support on issues including Long Covid, bereavement, trauma, and hardship.
