Feed - Formula for Change

Why you should vote for Feed - Formula for Change for the People’s Choice Award

Feed is an independent infant feeding charity championing mums not methods. We put families at the heart of our work in advocacy, research, policy and campaigning, no matter how they feed their babies; bottles, boobs or tubes. Feed is the only infant feeding charity to have a patient and public involvement group, our Feed Advocates, to ensure our work reflects the needs of women and families. We are also the only infant feeding charity with a dedicated research programme, based in the University of Edinburgh, ensuring we can meet women's needs with a strong evidence based approach.

Formula is an essential food. Families shouldn’t be penalised for using it - in the health service, in society or at the till. Our Formula for Change campaign aims to smash the stigma around formula feeding by empowering women and families, removing barriers to affordable formula and transforming the infant formula market, making it fair for all. Our big campaign wins include a significant drop in formula prices across the UK, retailer acceptance of vouchers and loyalty points as payment for formula, and - from the Government - clarity on the provision of formula at foodbanks alongside a commitment to reviewing the law.
