Together Reaching Higher CIC

Why you should vote for Together Reaching Higher CIC for the People’s Choice Award

Together Reaching Higher (TRH) is a Glasgow-based social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals, especially those from ethnic minority, New Scot, refugee, and migrant backgrounds, through inclusive, community-led initiatives. We deliver impactful programmes across entrepreneurship, STEM, health wellbeing, climate action, and employability, with a focus on skills development, social integration, and confidence-building. TRH provides safe, welcoming spaces and practical support to help people reach their full potential and thrive in Scotland

Together Reaching Higher’s Climate-Ink project engaged over 130 ethnic minority children, youth, and families in North East Glasgow through creative climate education. The initiative combined awareness workshops, digital coding, art, storytelling, and recycling activities to make climate change accessible and relatable. Youth created climate-themed projects using Scratch coding, while volunteers led and supported delivery, gaining valuable experience. The project not only raised awareness but also built community leadership, creativity, and environmental responsibility. Climate-Ink demonstrated how community-rooted, culturally inclusive education can empower community groups and inspire long-term climate action in fun, engaging, and impactful ways.
