Free School Meals

The Scottish Government introduced free school meals for all children in primary one to three in January,Action Group (CPAG) in partnership with other organisations including One Parent Families Scotland,,A Scottish Government announcement in 2014 to provide free school meals to p1 - p3 pupils was followed,The government awarded councils extra funding to implement the policy, which affected 135,000 children,disappointments along the way but kept pushing the issue working in partnership with others in the voluntary

SCVO Annual Review 2020-21

We have worked in partnership with Scottish Government on the pandemic response as well as on policy,We worked with Scottish Government and independent grant-makers to create a Coronavirus Funding Hub offering,We also worked with the Scottish Government and a wide range of partners to develop and deliver the Connecting,April 2020 to March 2021 we liaised closely with Scottish Government about the impact of the pandemic,We became a gateway organisation for the UK government’s Kickstart scheme, working with 121 voluntary
