SSE operates a 27-turbine wind farm at Toddleburn in the Scottish Borders. The fund contributes to the communities located around the wind farm in the Heriot, Oxton & Channelkirk and Parish of Stow Community Council areas. The community fund can support projects which:- enhance quality of life for local residents- contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities- promote community spirit and encourage community activity

The Trustees have two main areas of interest: - projects that demonstrate a Christian approach to the practical, educational and spiritual needs of people of all ages- and the adaptation of Church properties with a view to providing improved facilities for use by the church and its work in the community in which it is based.
