The scheme is designed to support charities registered and operating in the United Kingdom, especially those working at grass roots and local community level, in any field, across a wide range of activities. The focus is for one-year grants only, to cover core costs, projects, essential equipment or building projects.Their priority will be to support local charities still active in their communities which are currently delivering services to the young, vulnerable, elderly, disadvantaged or the general community.The Foyle Foundation will complete its grant giving programme in 2025.

The Fund aims to improve and increase access to paddle-sports/canoeing for the waters of Scotland (e.g. canal, open water, marine and river). It provides funding to any project in Scotland that helps paddlers get on the water.Examples of projects which can be funded include:- Steps to get down to a river bank- Constructing a path to walk by a river bank- A shed for any canoeist to store boats in overnight- A composting toilet near a popular river section- Car parking near a popular river section- Funding campaigning for Scottish access legislation- Funding campaigning against developments which would remove rapids- Leaflets to promote responsible access to the water by paddlers

Baillie Wind Farm Community Benefit Fund’s objectives are to fairly and reasonably disburse funds for the general benefit of the public living within the current boundaries of the West Caithness Community Council. Offering funding to families and individuals to support projects and initiatives that create positive change within their communities.The Make it Happen Fund makes a difference by enabling families to set the fund’s priorities and design the funding proposal process. Westray Community Business Loan Scheme utilises the income generated from the 900kW community wind turbine to support sustainable economic development in Westray in order to benefit the social, cultural, and economic life of the Westray community.Applications are welcome if they meet the following criteria:- Owned and operated in Westray.- Maintains and/or creates new employment in Westray.- Supports the viability of other locally owned and operated businesses.- Brings clear and identifiable benefits to the community of Westray.- Provides a local service/benefit service but is at risk of closure.- New business setting up in Westray and meets a community need or brings local benefits.- Is resident or will be resident in Westray before loan is finalised.
