The fund provides grants to support charitable activities that:- Encourage community activity and promote community spirit in Heriot;- Ensure adequate access to services for all Heriot community members;- Improve local transport infrastructure;- Build the local economy;- Build community capacity and cohesion between groups; and/or- Develop or maintain community assets.Grants may support a wide range of costs, for example, the costs of equipment, staff or sessional workers, consultations, running costs for local groups, maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities, and so on.

The Community Energy Generation Growth Fund will support community groups across Scotland to set up renewable energy generation projects.Applications must meet the following objectives:- Contribute to Scotland’s target of 2GW of community or locally owned renewable energy by 2030.- Support communities to develop and be engaged in energy projects and the energy transition.- Deliver concrete economic benefits to communities, while also supporting Scotland’s net zero ambitions.This funding call will target projects that can deliver a specific, significant milestone by 15th March 2027.Projects supported will need to:- Install over 100kW of renewable energy, either at a site or over multiple sites, for example multiple building roofs.- Install eligible technologies including onshore wind, solar PV, hydro. Battery storage, flexibility and local supply arrangements can be included if it complements renewable generation and improves the business model.- Generate and provide electricity through a connection to: Sell to the national grid; or Sell to a local energy user with enough demand; orPower your own building.Funding will also support projects that want to apply for support for repowering, as long as they can meet all the eligibility, and assessment and scoring criteria. Battery storage can be included if it complements renewable generation and improves the business model.Funding can be used to help projects meet a key and achievable project milestone by 15th March 2027. Examples of key milestones could include, but are not restricted to:- a site-specific feasibility study- a planning application submission- full technical design- grid connection agreements and payment - land agreements- procurement of contractors, services and equipmentinstallation of renewable technologies.

This Fund supports charitable activities or services of benefit to those living in the following Community Council areas in Caithness: Latheron, Lybster and Clyth; Watten; and Tannach and District. The outcomes for this Fund are:1. There are more and better opportunities to take part in sports and recreational pursuits2. Access to and through settlements is safer3. People of all ages enjoy more, better and varied activities and services4. Community life is enhanced and maintained through a wide range of activities, events and improved amenity of settlements5. Economic activity is encouraged within the Fund area6. People have more vocational skills and experience7. The natural and cultural heritage is more valued, experienced and understood by both visitors and residents8. Energy use in homes and community buildings is more sustainable9. Tourism opportunities are promoted and created in the Fund area.

The ASFT Fund has been established to support organisations across Aberdeenshire, Edinburgh and East Lothian, awarding grants for one year.Your project must meet **at least one** of the specific fund priorities below.Please note it does not strengthen your application to meet as many of the themes and corresponding listed areas of support as possible. Therefore, stay focused and don't dilute your request by appearing to spread yourself across multiple causes.Fund priorities:- Educational and learning projects, particularly those that support disabled children or outdoor education.- Creative and performance arts.- Responding to the effects of poor physical and mental health, and poverty.- Older people.- Increasing participation in sport.

National Lottery Awards for All offers funding to support what matters to people and communities. The programme is a partnership between the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland, sportscotland and Creative Scotland. It can fund projects that’ll do at least one of these things:- bring people together to build strong relationships in and across communities- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities- help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage- support people, communities and organisations facing more demands and challenges because of the cost-of-living crisis.You can use the funding to:- start a new activity or continue an existing one- help your organisation adapt to new challenges- run one-off eventsFor projects focused on **arts**, film or other creative work, they prioritise those that:- reduce barriers and increase access for people across society- come from people or places that receive less funding from Creative Scotland- pay artists at least the recommended industry rateThey prioritise **sports** projects that involve:- people that have a low income or experience poverty- people with mental health conditions- people over 50 years old- ethnic minority communities- girls and young women- disabled peopleThey are looking for projects that are connected to local people and their communities, and use their existing skills and experience. It is important to involve your community from the start - in the design, development and delivery of the activities you’re planning.

Grants are being invited from community groups, charities and cooperatives throughout Aberdeenshire (excluding the Cairngorms area) and can fund specific activities aimed at benefitting rural communities in the region.   There are two types of grants available:Capital grants for new projects to support expenditure on assets which will last longer than one year, for expenditure such as:- The purchase of equipment over £6,000- Improvement to buildings and property- Construction of paths- Retrofit upgrades to propertiesRevenue grants to support new projects, which are not capital and not part of the core running costs of the organisation, such as:- Feasibility studies- Alleviation of poverty measures- Access to services- Supporting children to gain new skillsApplications will be assessed and approved by the Aberdeenshire Local Action Group (LAG), a cross-sector partnership which represents rural communities throughout Aberdeenshire.Grants will be targeted towards capital expenditure which can be delivered before 28th February 2027 and supports one or more of the following priorities:- An inclusive and connected Aberdeenshire – Enabling better connections within and across rural Aberdeenshire Communities - Accountable and Fair Aberdeenshire – Ensuring no one community is left behind or exposed to the devastating effects of inequality and poverty. - Sustainability of Places and Planet - Achieving a just transition to net zero through reducing emissions and regenerating the local environment 

This fund supports charitable activity benefiting people living in the community council areas of Benarty, Cardenden and Kinglassie in Fife.The fund provides grants to support charitable activities that:- Enhance quality of life for local residents.- Contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities.- Promote community spirit and encourage community activity.Grant may support a wide range of costs, e.g. equipment costs, running costs for local groups, staff or sessional workers, consultations and maintenance or refurbishment of community facilities.Different criteria and amounts apply for each fund.
