The scheme aims to make one-off grants to voluntary organisations whose work complements the work of Social Work Services. Particular attention will be given to groups operating within priority areas or serving priority groups within the terms of Fife Council Policies. Groups who address equal opportunities issues will also be looked on favourably. Grants are only available to groups involved in the field of social welfare.

The Regional Creatives Fund offers grants of up to £30,000 to UK charities that develop creative industry career pathways. The Regional Creatives Fund aligns with the Government’s recently announced Creative Places Growth Fund and aims to increase access to careers in the creative industries for people from underserved communities.Projects that focus on:- Upskilling or professional development in creative fields- Building on existing programmes, pilots, or structures that show promise- Creating sustainable pathways into creative careers- Innovative or scalable approaches to creative learning- Collaboration and regional sharing of knowledge/resources- Serving communities or people from government-designated underserved areasIt is essential that you seek to expand or continue an existing creative programme (rather than develop a new one). Projects must operate within the following creative industries: Digital and physical publishing, such as books and podcasts; Film, TV and Performance;Music; Advertising; Fashion; or Gaming.While this fund provides short-term financial support, they are especially keen to build long-term relationships with charity partners. They are more likely to prioritise projects from organisations who are open to ongoing collaboration beyond this round of funding. Funds can also be used for equipment, software, and wages, provided they meaningfully contribute to the project.

The Dr Gavin Wallace Fellowship allows a creative organisation to host a mid-career or established writer for a year. There is £5000 funding available for a host organisation, and £24,000 for an author. This funding is to enable them to focus on new work. This part of the application process is for potential hosts to apply. Following appointment of a host organisation, they would be expected to manage the recruitment process for selecting a writer.

Two schemes are available:The Out of School Childcare Grant is available to constituted, non-profit distributing voluntary groups or organisations that develop and provide a registered out of school childcare service. The grant is available to support staff wages, inclusion of children with special needs, staff training, improving quality and adaptation to the physical environment.The Transport Grant is to assist Out of School Clubs to meet the costs of transport and escort duties incurred whilst transporting children from the school to the Out of School Care Club.

Marine Fund Scotland

The funding can support eligible individuals, businesses, organisations and communities to deliver projects which contribute to an innovative and sustainable marine economy, reducing carbon emissions and supporting coastal communities. Scotland’s Blue Economy Vision is that, by 2045, Scotland’s shared stewardship of our marine environment supports ecosystem health, improved livelihoods, economic prosperity, social inclusion and wellbeing.Applications for projects that demonstrate wider collective benefit (e.g. positive outcomes for communities) over and above, or at least in addition to, benefits for an individual organisation, business or person, are more likely to be successful.Any purchases or work carried out on your project must have been completed and fully paid for by 31 March 2026.

Participatory Budgeting (PB) gives local residents a direct role in identifying priorities, making decisions, and allocating a portion of public funding. This approach has been implemented across all nine Neighbourhood Planning areas in South Lanarkshire, allowing communities to influence how money is spent in their local area.Priorities and criteria will depend on your local area.Funding must follow the principles: Fair and Inclusive Participatory, Deliberative, Empowering, Creative and Flexible, Transparent, and Part of our democracy.

The SME Loan provides unsecured, interest free loans from for the installation of energy efficient measures such as lighting and heating upgrades, double glazing and insulation. The loan can be used to pay for: - heating, ventilation and air conditioning upgrades: from single improvements to controls to complete system replacement- lighting systems: fitting and controls- building fabric: including insulation, draft-proofing, double and secondary glazing- water saving: be it installing a grey water system, harvesting rain water or sampling installing water efficient taps- waste reduction: installation of equipment to improve handing and reduce waste at source.

The Community Empowerment Fund (part of the broader UK Shared Prosperity Fund or UKSPF) is a community capacity building initiative that aims to boost local community projects across the Falkirk area.There are two programmes:- Capital Facilities Improvement Grant: Up to £15,000 capital funding towards projects that result in the creation or significant improvement of a building/facility owned or controlled by a non-profit, community benefit organisation. - Small and Start-Up Grants: Funding to deliver new or expanded services within our communities, including activities, events and volunteering opportunities (up to £5,000).The UK Government have introduced a revised set of outcomes for the SPF programme. The 25/26 Outcomes for the Community Empowerment are listed below:- Number of amenities/facilities created or improved - Number of local events or activities supported - Number of people reached - Number of volunteering opportunities supported - Improved engagement numbers - Number of volunteering opportunities created as a result of support For projects aiming to be completed by 31 January 2026.
