The fund aims to deliver inclusive community-based activity to meet one or more of the Scottish Government priorities of:- Tackling the climate emergency- Eradicating child poverty - Growing the economy - Ensuring high quality and sustainable public services Grants will be targeted towards activities or infrastructure that support one or more of the following priorities: - Build community capacity to facilitate and support local development - Help the economy of the Park to deliver Net Zero by supporting communities and existing businesses (priority theme) - Attract, support and retain young people in the National Park - Increase community service provision in the National Park (priority theme)- Cultural Heritage and Recreation - Creating a Well-Being economyCairngorms CLV encourages applications from businesses (micro & small enterprises) and groups for projects that will deliver for the communities of the Cairngorms National Park. Projects could be completely new capital activity or capital items; or can be additional capital within existing projects. Where possible projects will be encouraged to work in partnership with others to deliver their projects. They would like to see a variety of applications ranging from small actions to larger more strategic projects.

This programme offers grants between £75,000 and £150,000 to address the impact of domestic abuse and support initiatives aimed at having a long-term effect in preventing domestic abuse in serving Armed Forces communities or assisting those affected.Projects will be expected to achieve one or more of the followingoutcomes:- Deliver effective, preventative and educational measures regarding domestic abuse within Armed Forces communities, by addressing emerging and current challenges.- Provide clear routes, or remove barriers, to enable victim-survivors to access effective support, including the ability to recognise and report domestic abuse.- Establish long-term, sustainable improvements and adaptation of support to meet the evolving needs of victim-survivors. The Trust is interested in projects that are actively aware of additional factors that might present additional barriers in accessing support. This could include those with disabilities,foreign and Commonwealth families, the LGBT+ community or Armed Forces serving personnel and families who are located overseas.

This programme offers grants of between £3,000 and £20,000 to support serving families stationed overseas. It aims to help overseas bases, or UK-based charities working with them, identify and address challenges impacting the wellbeing of partners, children and young people during overseas deployments.The Trust is looking to support projects which offer new forms of targeted support for families of serving personnel posted and living overseas to help them thrive in their new communities and build networks of support to improve wellbeing. Your project will need to meet one or more of the following outcomes:- Provide new forms of personalised and targeted support in location for partners, young people, and children and their wellbeing whilst posted overseas. - Increase serving families’ knowledge of existing services and recreational provision.- Reduce isolation and the impact of loneliness in country for partners, young people and children.

The Family Focus programme offers grants of between £50,000 and £100,000 to fund projects that explore and pilot solutions for family members - collectively and as individuals - of wounded, injured and sick serving personnel or Veterans.Your project will need to meet one or more of the following outcomes:- Family members of those who are wounded, injured or sick feel better informed and more able to access relevant information, advice and guidance, applicable to their situation.- Family members of those who are wounded, injured or sick feel less lonely/isolated, more resilient and better equipped to deal with their circumstances.- Family members of those who are wounded, injured and sick have developed their skills for work, or have greater confidence to pursue volunteering or employment when it’s right for them.The focus for 2025/26 is supporting projects that test new ideas, refine successful pilots, or expand services developed in the past five years, provided they are not part of an organisation's core work.
