Alan Glen leads Azets’ Tax Service offering to SCVO members. Alan is chartered tax advisor specialising in VAT and indirect tax and has over 20 years of experience in the charity and not-for-profit sector. He is regularly asked to speak at events and represent charities in communications with HMRC. He has a history of assisting charities to comply with complex VAT rules and legislation and making sure that the cost of irrecoverable VAT is minimised, particularly in relation to capital projects.
