#connect23
#connect23 is a series of free in-person and online events that bring people together to learn and talk about the brilliant digital inclusion and digital evolution work happening in Scotland
At our events, we explore Scotland’s digital landscape and think about ways we can work together to form a network of organisations passionate about doing digital well. We’ll also look at good practice and barriers to progress, and develop ideas on how together we can build a digitally confident and inclusive Scotland.
Our events are open to anyone with an interest in digital inclusion or digital evolution from both within and outwith the voluntary sector – everyone is welcome!

What's involved (in person)
At our #connect23 in-person events, we usually deliver up to four workshop sessions, have lunch together and include lots of opportunities to network too!
During 2023 we've delivered in-person events in Edinburgh, Inverness, Dundee and Glasgow.

What's involved (online)
Our online sessions are are interactive sessions about an hour long. We either focus on one particular topic, or facilitate an informal drop-in discussion with the topics led by participants.

Radical challenge - workshop pledges
We want to live in a Scotland where everyone has the opportunity to get online, and to do that we need to make sure that digital inclusion is everyone’s responsibility. To that end, we encouraged our workshop participants to make a pledge about how they will prioritise digital. To support everyone to meet their pledges, we have developed a series of new Digital Inclusion Masterclasses – bite-sized webinars covering a range of crucial topics, with a range of sector leaders and experts.
