Whether you’re completely new to the topic or looking for a refresher, this session offers a practical, accessible way to engage with current thinking around trauma-informed practice.
You’ll explore what trauma is, how it can show up in day-to-day interactions, and simple, realistic ways to support mental wellbeing, including tools you can start using straight away.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand what is meant by trauma
- Recognise how trauma can affect people’s thoughts, feelings and behaviours
- Identify signs that someone may have experienced trauma
