Overview

Start the day with practical tips and inspiration from this year’s Scottish Charity Awards finalists.

SCVO’s Rise and Shine webinars are a unique opportunity to hear from organisations who have thrived despite the odds during the pandemic.

Overall aim

The finalists for Trustee of the Year will reflect on the past 12 months where they faced extreme challenges and reveal how they excelled despite an ever-changing landscape. They will discuss how they became a trustee, and what they find most rewarding, and most challenging, about the role.

Description

We are delighted this webinar will be hosted by Tracey Bird, Information officer, SCVO and we will be joined by finalists:

  • Fiona Davis, Fringe Society
  • Julia Grindley, Edinburgh School Uniform Bank
  • Lilas Dunlop, Cosgrove Care
  • Robert Smith, Linkes (SCIO)

SCVO will also launch a special offer for Trustees Week 2021 where organisations in Scotland can advertise their board vacancy for free on Goodmoves during November and December. Your trustee vacancy will be seen by over 80,000 people who are actively looking to get involved in the sector.

Who was the event aimed at?

Come along to hear from Trustees and their fascinating stories of trusteeship.
