- Overview
Trustees have a key role to play in ensuring their organisation’s approach to fundraising is in keeping with its purpose, values and culture. As a visible aspect of a charity’s work, fundraising can shape opinion, embody your charity’s values and brand, and affect your reputation. That’s why trustees need to know their legal and ethical responsibilities and where they can go for information and support.
- Description
This free lunchtime webinar, run jointly by the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and SCVO, will look at the role of trustees in fundraising and the rules and regulations you need to follow. As the cost-of-living crisis is causing significant challenges for us all and demand for our services increases, we know fundraising is getting harder. That’s why this special Trustees’ Week webinar will give you the chance to hear from the experts, gather practical hints and tips from trustees and senior leaders involved in fundraising, and get an overview of the current state of play for charity fundraising.
You’ll get the chance to ask questions and find out more about the support and resources available to help your organisation and ensure your trustees know their responsibilities.
