The implementation of the Charities (Regulation and Administration) (Scotland) Act 2023  is currently underway and from summer 2025 all charities need to be aware of three important measures that relate to:

• Providing trustee details to OSCR and the publication of trustee names
• Publication of all charity accounts without redaction
• Automatic disqualification of trustees and those undertaking a senior management function

In addition charitable company directors need to know about the implementation of identity verification requirements required under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023.
