- Overview
The Scottish Budget will be introduced to Parliament on Thursday 15 December. This webinar will help voluntary organisations to understand some of the high-level implications of the budget for the Scottish economy, the sector and the communities we work with.
- Description
We are delighted to be joined by speakers who will address the following questions:
- How does the budget impact on the wider economic picture for Scotland, and what might this mean for charities? Mairi Spowage, Director, Fraser of Allander Institute
- How does the budget directly impact on voluntary organisations? Sheghley Ogilvie, Policy and Public Affairs Officer, SCVO
- How does the budget impact on local government, and how might this affect voluntary organisations? Derek Yule, Financial Advisor, COSLA
Participants will be able to submit questions using the chat function throughout the event, and the Chair (Paul Bradley, Policy and Public Affairs Manager, SCVO) will put a selection of these to the panel.
