Anti-Racism: coming together for conversation and co-design

SCVO is on a journey to becoming an anti-racist organisation.

When thinking about Black History month 2023 we started to ask ourselves why we’re focussing on October. We took the decision instead to use October as a springboard for a co-design process to understand and develop what we can do more generally, not restricted to October itself. 

We are aware that as the membership organisation for the voluntary sector across Scotland our work is broad and far reaching. We want to explore how we can be anti-racist in what we do and how we do it.

We would like to invite you to be part of a group to help us co-design what we could do across the year and also during Black History month from now on in.

We’ve booked October 11th 2023 to be our first on-line get together and talk about how we can achieve this using a co-designed approach. We’d love you to join us to kick off a conversation please sign up here if you’re able to spare us an hour. We’d really appreciate any support you can offer, whether it’s throughout the year or even just at this first meeting. 

This event will be a Zoom meeting, which allows all participants to see who else is in attendance and we can all interact with everyone in attendance. Please feel free to submit a question or comment in the online booking form prior to the event.
