Funding Scotland has a new look and is stuffed full of new features. Since we launched the online funding search back in 2014, we've listened to our users and been constantly evolving and improving. We are now offering a great range of new features
Our new version uses the latest technology to provide fast, effective searches. We've added new filters including funds for individuals (where the fund supports individuals as well as organisations) and funds that are opening soon. There's new eligibility criteria information and you can now also search for funders and find out all the funding programmes they deliver.
It's also more than just a funding search and provides news on funding for voluntary organisations from Third Force News and blog posts.
We know that voluntary organisations value our search and we'll always provide a free service. With a standard account, you can search the complete database for free, find funds and download funding information.
However some organisations may find it useful to upgrade to a Premium account, to access a great range of tools to help manage funding information. You can also subscribe to email bulletins and alerts to help you stay informed. Prices start at just £75 per year for SCVO member organisations.
We’ve teamed up with other organisations, mostly Local Authorities, to provide a local service in some areas. These provide a free Premium service and are worth checking out if you only need funding information relevant to your local area.
"I'm loving the new Funding Stirling (free premium service)! Searching is much improved and it's so handy being able to save searches and get regular updates e.g. when new funds open. Best of all, as Paws for Progress is a Community Interest Company, not a charity, it's really great to be able to filter out funds that only support charities ... huge thumbs (and paws) up from us."
Julie Christie, Paws for Progress CIC
We want to expand the coverage of local sites and are happy to talk to Local Authorities, Third Sector Interfaces and other intermediaries about setting them up.
“The site (Shetland Funding Search) has fairly changed – and for the better! It looks very good, and it’s good to see the new features added. The site has steadily improved since we signed up for it, and it’s pleasing to see further developments take place. This is a vindication of our decision to move our business to Funding Scotland!”
