The Community Engagement Team within the Regeneration Division of the Scottish Government asked Communities Analytical Services to provide an overview of what is know about the impact of community engagement and empowerment activity within the context of regeneration and to explore how its impact is currently being measured in Scotland. The following research objectives were therefore set: ? Provide a succinct overview of the impact of community engagement and empowerment within the context of regeneration. ? Examine how the impact of community engagement and empowerment within regeneration is being measured via Single Outcome Agreements in Scotland. This report outlines the findings from the first research objective.
