Ian Monteague has been involved with FARE for 32 years and is now the current chairperson. Ian is passionate about reducing poverty in all its forms. He has assisted the organisation to grow from a community meeting in 1989 to employing 74 staff. FARE provide services throughout Glasgow and connecting local authorities working with some of the most disadvantaged communities. Ian’s drive and determination has helped lead the trustees at strategic level, while always having time to advise the staff team who deliver operational on the ground. Ian is a quiet humble gentleman who would help anyone in need.
