Glasgow Climate Action Hub wants to achieve with the Demonstrator Grants programme. They want:- more people to understand the causes of climate change and its effects on communities now and in the future.- people to feel empowered to be able to act on climate change by understanding the actions they can take in their own life and within their own communities.- people to feel empowered to have their voices heard by local and national decision makers.​- to understand the barriers to climate action; what prevents communities from engaging in climate action and, just as importantly, what puts them off?All projects should consider these outcomes, but they don’t expect any one project to cover it all.This fund is particularly interesting in hearing from groups working with:- Communities in the North East of Glasgow- LGBTQ+ communities- People with disabilities- Black and minority ethnic communitiesProjects and activities must be delivered in time to submit a final report by the 31st of March 2025. Projects should be as sustainable as possible in their delivery e.g. no use of single use items.

The Hidden Voices Programme will award grants of up to £20,000 to enable and deliver accessible mental health and wellbeing support for those with seldom heard needs in Armed Forces communities.Aims to support projects that address the unique mental health and wellbeing needs of marginalised groups focusing on prevention and early intervention. Your project will need to meet all of the following outcomes:- Build collaborative partnerships between Armed Forces organisations and specialist non- Armed Forces organisations- Identify and address known and unknown gaps in service provision for the Armed Forces community- Provide accessible, preventable and defined interventions- Enhance awareness and understanding among mainstream voluntary sector organisations of the unique needs of the Armed Forces community and create ongoing support opportunities.

Community Led Local Development (CLLD) is administered by a Local Action Group (LAG) with funding made available by the Scottish Government. This LAG – the Outer Hebrides Community Led Local Development Local Action Group (OH CLLD LAG) – covers the area of the Outer Hebrides.This fund is intended to complement objectives achieved through the earlier 2024-25 CLLD Fund (which was for capital expenditure) and aims to facilitate projects which have the potential to have a positive impact on a number of the communities and islands. A strong collaborative approach is encouraged and the requested CLLD support should enable projects to unlock further funding or move an existing project forward significantly.Projects must support the LAG’s overarching vision of increasing collaboration and Community Empowerment through inclusion, equality and diversity.Projects must align with the LAG’s priorities for 2024-25, which are:- Community Wealth Building;- Supporting children and young people; - Dùthchas and Dualchas*, with a focus on identifying new approaches that can lead to economic benefits.- Working towards Net Zero;- Transport;- Fair work and Employability.Projects must further:- create benefits across a number of our communities or islands;- help unlock further funding and/or move an existing project forward significantly;- incorporate a collaborative approach.

Historic Environment Scotland’s Heritage & Place Programme is an area-based funding programme that aims to contribute to the development of vibrant and sustainable places in Scotland, through community-led regeneration of the historic environment. It supports the development and delivery of heritage focused schemes within conservation areas, or alternatively distinctive heritage areas with local authority recognition.Community participation is be integral to the design and delivery of the successful schemes your objectives should fit within the local authority's strategic framework for Place and Regeneration.To qualify for the H&PP, you will also need to demonstrate that your scheme meets the following criteria:- It will take place within a defined area of the historic environment with heritage significance which has local authority recognition- Its objectives fit within the local authority’s strategic framework for Place and Regeneration, with participation and support from the local community- There is demonstrable evidence provided to show the need for repair and regeneration in the defined area of the historic environment that will focus on its repair and resilience, traditional skills training and materials, community heritage engagement and future management and maintenance- There has been demand identified from within the local community for projects and activities to be undertaken as part of the scheme- A financial need for HES funding has been demonstrated and there is also the ability to attract local authority funding and other match funding- It will deliver against the HES Grants Priorities
