This fund provides grants for charitable projects and activities that primarily benefit residents of Inverinan, Lochavich, Dalavich, or Kilmaha. The fund themes are:- Housing Development (affordable housing, property purchase, new builds)- Community Assets (forestry shed, church, other facilities)- Young People- Arts and Heritage- Transport Solutions (community transport, road improvements)- Environmental Projects (woodland management, path networks)- Economic Initiatives (business development, training opportunities)- Health and Wellbeing Services (emergency response, activities)Awards can support a wide range of costs and activities, including, for example, equipment costs, staff or sessional worker costs, consultations and feasibility studies, and repair or refurbishment of community facilities.Applicants must demonstrate how their proposal meets with or consider the following additional criteria appropriately and proportionately relative to their project:- Local procurement- Collaboration- Building capacity locally- Financial sustainability- Match funding- Environmental sustainability- Creating a legacy

The Panel will welcome applications that propose to work across the Community Council area and which would benefit the the community of Cockburnspath & Cove. Groups located outwith the Fund area can apply, provided that the project can clearly demonstrate and evidence impact for the area.The fund provides grants to support charitable activities that:- Enhance the quality of life for the local residents.- Contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities.- Promote community spirit and encourage community activity.- Preserve, enhance or give better access to culture, heritage and the environment.Cockburnspath & Cove Community Council has published a Community Action Plan for the area, based on consultations with local residents. The Fund will particularly welcome applications for grants that contribute towards the priorities and themes identified in the Community Action Plan. As well as demonstrating a fit with at least one of the outcomes above, priority for grants can be given to projects that demonstrate the following additional criteria:- Local procurement- Sustainable development- Local consultation- Partnership working

This Fund supports charitable activities or services that benefit people living in the Community Council area of Halkirk & District in Caithness. Projects must meet one of the following purposes:- community facilities- skills and employment- community or local events- sport and recreation- environmental improvements- youth and education- heritage- net zero / emissions reduction- initiativesand/or such other purpose as has first been approved in writing by ScottishPower RenewablesApplications which do not clearly fit with these outcomes but which can show strong community support and evidence of need may be considered where funds allow.Applications should also consider local consultation and procurement, partnership working, and sustainable development.

Funds projects and initiatives that support the rural regeneration and sustainability of communities within the Solwaybank Windfarm area and enhance the lives of those living and working in the area.Applications are welcomed that fall into the following categories:- Enhance the quality of life for local residents- Contribute to vibrant, healthy, successful and sustainable communities- Promote community spirit and encourage community activityPriority will be given to projects which can demonstrate:- Local consultation – evidence that the local community has been consulted and is supportive of the project- Strategic projects – with longer term impacts and benefits- Partnership working – working with other organisations (e.g. voluntary, local, regional or national) to add value to a project- Local procurement – using local suppliers and providers for goods and services, where possible.- Environmental considerations – consideration of the project’s carbon footprint and minimising the environmental impactMatch funding of at least 10% of the project cost will normally be required, but projects with more match funding to add to the value of the project and maximise the Community Benefit funding are preferred.
