The Whole Family Support Third Sector Delivery Fund is a £20 million fund for charities to deliver help that is tailored to the specific needs of families living in poverty or at risk of poverty. This will help them connect with the services and support in their communities that can make a difference.This fund helps third sector organisations support families living in poverty or at risk of poverty. It will do this by boosting their capacity to deliver Whole Family Support in communities across Scotland. It contributes to Scottish Government's goal of ending child poverty in Scotland.Scot Gov wants to work with:- partners who can work nationally, or across multiple local authorities areas, to support families in their communities- successful organisations to help ensure that this activity is as joined-up as possible with existing local work to deliver Whole Family SupportThird sector organisations or partnerships can apply for a share of £20 million in funding for 2026/27. Scot Gov expects that funding will continue and move to a multi-year basis from 2027/28, subject to future confirmation.

The aim of the Scottish Strategic Timber Transport Scheme is to facilitate the sustainable transport of timber in rural areas of Scotland for the benefit of local communities and the environment, maximising the value of monies available through innovative Regionally and Nationally Strategic projects and partnerships. Projects should have community and social and environmental benefits and reduce damage and disruption to public roads.

The fund helps museums, galleries, libraries and archives throughout Scotland to make acquisitions for their collections, provided they are open to the public and not run for profit. Grants may be made to assist the purchase of an object or group of objects that conforms to the applicant's collecting policy. Funding is provided annually by Scottish Government and administered by National Museums Scotland.

The Plugged in Communities Grant Fund supports community transport operators in Scotland to replace a community transport vehicle with a zero-emission alternative, to support community trips and services.Grants are available to cover the following zero-emission vehicles:- Cars- Light goods vehicles- Minibuses- Mopeds/ motorcyclesYou must provide community transport services.

The Victim Surcharge Fund (VSF) is available to organisations who provide direct support to victims of crime. It can be used to provide emergency household, food, utility, or clothing expenses for those escaping domestic abuse, or for installation of alarm systems to help victims feel safe, in line with published Guidance.The VSF is intended to supplement and enhance support services that Victim Support Organisations (VSOs) already provide to victims of crime and is primarily intended to help victims who are already accessing the services of VSOs.

Groups and organisations can apply for funding to help people understand how climate change affects their lives and what actions they can take. The Climate Engagement Fund will support groups to act as ‘trusted messengers’ in their communities, and lead climate change initiatives that: - reach all parts of society - build understanding - enable participation in policy development - encourage climate action Climate Engagement funding can be used for activities such as: - events, lectures, and festivals - climate conversations and workshops - interactive exhibitions and participatory arts - training and climate coaching - youth programmes and citizen science - informative games and mobile applications - staff costs directly linked to project design and deliveryApplications are invited for projects to be undertaken between April 2026 and March 2027

Funding is intended to help to bring woodlands into management; promote the economic and sustainable production of timber and timber products; add value and jobs to local economies; and provide support to facilitate and enable diversification.It supports investments in three main areas:1. new specialised equipment which will increase the local small-scale harvesting and processing capacity2. new specialised equipment for forest tree nurseries, including tree seed supply businesses and equipment for afforestation ground preparation projects, including forestry fencing projects3. support for the mobile equipment to help forestry businesses or enterprises to adapt and recover from Covid-19

This option has two distinct aims.1) Provides support for new access infrastructure that will bring small scale, undermanaged woodlands or inaccessible woodlands back into active management with the following aims: - to improve the economic value of forest and woodland through timber production- to increase the area of woodland in Scotland that is in sustainable management - to improve the environmental and social benefits of woodland.2) To provide support for new access infrastructure to new woodlands as part of the Sheep and Trees initiative. This initiative is aimed at raising awareness of the many opportunities woodland can bring to land managers.
