The purpose of the Strengthening Youth Music fund is to improve the youth music sector infrastructure and the services that organisers offer. It supports strategic action, research or training that will strengthen the youth music sector in Scotland for the benefit of children and young people. The purpose of this fund is not to support project delivery directly with children and young people.

The Cinema Equipment Fund is for cinemas and venues to upgrade or install cinema screening equipment and aims to increase access to cinema and encourage resilience for film exhibitors based in Scotland. This fund will support existing cinemas to upgrade first generation Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) compliant equipment, and support venues with advanced plans for film exhibition to install new equipment. The fund will also support community venues to upgrade or install film screening equipment (such as projector, screen, sound system and media player).

The purpose of the Fund is to support touring of high-quality theatre and dance (including outdoor, circus, interdisciplinary and site-specific work). This can include remounts of previously successful shows, shows which have previously undergone research and development, and tourable work that is yet to be produced. The aim of this fund is to support a range of work of different scales to tour throughout Scotland, and to help the touring sector engage with and develop audiences. The fund also aims to support work created by a diverse range of artists, companies and producers, and for a diverse range of audiences.

The purpose of the Made in Scotland Programme is to raise the international profile of Scottish artists through the promotion of Scottish work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.Funding is available to help support the presentation at the Fringe of new or existing artistically ambitious work with strong onward potential as part of the Made in Scotland Showcase. The Public Engagement Grant Scheme (PEGS) aims to support the IOP Limit Less campaign by improving the relationship with physics of young people and their influencers, including their parents and carers. This could be by showcasing relatable role models of those doing physics, actively challenging stereotypes and preconceptions, sharing positive messages about physics, and more!The grant looks to prioritise projects that reach families with young people under the age of 16 who identify with one or more of the following groups currently underrepresented in the physics community:- Girls and young women- Disabled young people- LGBT+ young people- Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds- Black Caribbean young people
