Managed by CVS Falkirk & District, the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing (CMHW) Fund aims to support community-based projects and initiatives to help address local mental health and wellbeing needs for adults across Falkirk communities. The Fund has a strong focus on prevention and early intervention and aims to support local activities tackling mental health inequalities and addressing priority issues of social isolation and loneliness, suicide prevention and tackling poverty and inequality with an emphasis on responding to the ongoing cost of living crisis and on those facing socioeconomic disadvantage.Applications can only be accepted from a range of voluntary, “not for profit” organisations, associations, groups and clubs, or consortiums/partnerships which have a strong community focus for their activities.

The Local Support Fund Micro Grants (LSF Micro) are part of the Scottish Government’s National Drugs Mission Funds, administered by the Corra Foundation. LSF Micro is for grassroots and community-based groups in Scotland, which deliver frontline services to support people who use or used drugs, people in recovery and/or families affected by someone else’s drug use.This fund is designed to help these groups by providing grants which will offer some financial security. This is intended to help with planning and delivering support to improve the wellbeing of people who use substances, people in recovery and their families.Funding can support day to day running costs, project costs, training, new or existing activities, small pieces of equipment, expansion costs, etc.

The ARIA Fund empowers local communities to address their unique challenges. As part of the Scottish Government's Community Led Local Development (CLLD) programme, ARIA operates through a bottom-up decision-making process, with funding priorities and project selections determined by representatives from the local area who form the Local Action Group (LAG).There are 2 funds: the Main Fund, and Community Asset Maintenance Fund.Main Fund:Projects must demonstrate fit with at least one of the ARIA Fund priorities. These include:- Community Wealth Building- Quality of Life- Community Led Tourism (CLT) - Enterprise- Net ZeroCommunity Asset Maintenance Fund:The Community Asset Maintenance Fund supports the production of a property condition register (also known as a repairs register). This assesses the internal and external condition of the building and includes a costed schedule of repairs alongside a proposed maintenance plan with indicative dates for periodic upkeep (e.g., external decoration, gutter clearance, etc.). ARIA also offers a £2,000 a sinking fund to help finance repairs.
