SCVO is developing a programme of support for RS Macdonald grantholders
We are offering in-depth digital support for up to 20 organisations. This will include supporting your or your colleagues to complete our online Digital Checkup. We will then collate anonymised results and run two facilitated sessions where up to 10 organisations come together to compare and discuss their results and responses to common challenges.
We will also invite you to take up a 1-to-1 discussion of your own result in more detail with our Digital Evolution Manager, John Fitzgerald. John will help you to develop a tailored action plan to improve the digital capability of your organisation. This will include information about available training and support to help meet the needs you have identified.
We will run two group workshops for up to 10 organisations in each session. If you are interested in accessing this support programme please book onto one of our sessions:
Book 27 SeptemberFrom Autumn 2022, we will be offering substantially discounted HR support to organisations supported by RS MacDonald. More details coming soon.
From January 2023, we will be offering in-depth governance support to organisations supported by RS MacDonald. More details coming soon.
In 2023, we will run a set of our popular ‘demystifying service design’ training series for RS MacDonald grant holders. Organisations can choose to attend only one session or can build their knowledge by signing up to all four sessions.
“I liked the flexibility of the programme. There wasn't rigid adherence to a "set" course, but instead there was the opportunity for the programme to move with the needs, challenges and experiences of the participants.”
“I've learned about new tools/techniques to help me understand accessibility better from the client perspective, ensuring that the service we are delivering is meeting those needs, that we can respond quickly to changing needs evidenced by our covid response and to help use data to underpin strategic decisions. Above all I've learned that failure in the road to success and that we shouldn't be afraid to try and test out new approaches.”
“As a result of the programme we will continue to embrace digital to help us be a more time efficient organisation when dealing with administration. We have streamlined our processes of volunteer recruitment with online forms connected to our database, our feedback and evaluation forms will be linked to our database. This will save a lot of staff and volunteer time.”
