Overview

As part of Cyber Scotland week, we’re running a special DigiShift to highlight what you can learn from running a cyber exercise. Along with our usual Q&A and discussion, we’ll have a hands-on demo of TTX Gym – a free, interactive online cyber exercising platform.

Description

Cyber attacks have affected organisations of all types and sizes, and the impacts can be very severe - including bringing organisations to a complete halt. It can be hard to know if your organisation is ready to respond to a cyber incident. Running cyber exercises is a great way to bring people from all levels of your organisation to learn together and spot any gaps in your incident response plan.

Andrew Colthart, Incident Management Coordinator at the Scottish Cyber Coordination Centre (SC3), will provide an overview of SC3’s work supporting the Scottish Public Sector in strengthening cyber resilience. He will also introduce the TTX Gym – a free, interactive online cyber exercising platform designed to help organisations test and improve their incident response plans in a realistic and practical way.

Who is the event aimed at?

This session is for anyone in the voluntary sector, public service leaders, digital practitioners, policymakers, and those interested in the future of digital government and service design. Whether you’re responsible for digital strategy, service delivery, or simply passionate about building better services, you’ll gain invaluable insights and practical ideas to take forward.
