Overview

Get Online Week is an annual campaign organised by The Good Things Foundation, running from 19th - 25th October. This year SCVO is proud to support Get Online Week and spread the message to the wider voluntary sector in Scotland.

This is an introductory webinar for people working in the voluntary sector who are considering how to embed digital inclusion in service delivery. No previous experience or knowledge is needed, just a curiosity about the role digital could play to help you support people.

Overall aim

In this session we will cover:

  • What we mean by 'digital inclusion'
  • Why it's relevant for your service delivery
  • Understanding risks and benefits
  • Taking your first steps
Description

This is a short introductory webinar designed to help voluntary sector organisations start thinking about the role of digital inclusion in service delivery. We will share insights from our experience of delivering a variety of different digital inclusion programmes, and provide space for participants to share their own experiences and ideas. This isn't a 'how-to' course, more an initial conversation to help you generate some ideas.
