- The launch of Get Involved, an online directory of third sector organisations in Scotland. This will make it easier than ever for people to find out about charities and voluntary organisations in their local area. It’s a small but important step in raising the online profile of organisations that aren’t on the web.
- A panel debate on the importance of digital participation. Getting people online can have huge benefits – but when times are hard and budgets are squeezed, how high a priority should it be? Mike Neilson from the Scottish Government, Professor Michael Fourman from the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Hilary Kidd from Young Scot will share their perspectives.
- A keynote talk and Q&A on making the most of being online, showcasing how third sector organisations are using the web and what resources are out there ready for you to use. We’re delighted to welcome Charlotte Sutton from Google UK to lead this session and explain more about what you can do generally and also with their tools.
