Who we are
The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation. We are a charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Our registered office is Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6BB.
This privacy notice tells you what data we collect and what we use it for.
What information do we collect?
When you submit an enquiry to the SCVO HR and Employment Support Service - your enquiry and contact details will be recorded and stored.
Some of the enquiries we receive may be particularly sensitive or confidential. All enquiries are stored securely, access is limited by our IT team.
How will we use the information?
We will use this data to respond to your enquiry. We will also use it for reporting purposes - to monitor the level and nature of enquiries we receive.
We may anonymise queries and use them for marketing or evaluation of the service.
The SCVO HR and Employment Support Service is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. We may be required to share information about this service, and about the enquiries we receive, with them as part of the funding agreement.
If your query is for legal advice, we will refer your query and contact information to one of our partner legal firms who provide the SCVO Legal Advice Service.
Your enquiry will be stored for 7 years, as required by the funding agreement with the National Lottery Community Fund, after which it will be deleted.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information.
