The Growth Guarantee Scheme (GGS) is designed to support access to finance for UK small businesses (third-sector) as they look to invest and grow. The Scheme provides a 70% government backed guarantee on loans, and aims to improve access to finance to boost overall investment and economic growth. The Scheme supports term loans, overdrafts, asset based lending and invoice finance facilities. The purpose of the Made in Scotland Programme is to raise the international profile of Scottish artists through the promotion of Scottish work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.Funding is available to help support the presentation at the Fringe of new or existing artistically ambitious work with strong onward potential as part of the Made in Scotland Showcase. All applicants should be considering their international ambitions for the show being presented.Those selected to be part of Made in Scotland will also receive support and advice to help them prepare for participation in the programme, including advice on marketing, venues, networking and much more.

The Social Enterprise Grant have been created to enable social enterprises based in the South Lanarkshire area to apply for small amounts of funding to start-up and/or grow trading activity that will deliver social and environmental impact.The fund can be used for enterprising projects which support social enterprise business models to start, increase trading income and fit with the Social Enterprise Strategy objectives:- Increased Social Enterprise businesses operating in South Lanarkshire- Commitment to increasing trading activity- Increased number of social enterprises tendering and being part of the supply chain- Increased volunteering opportunities as a potential route to employment- Increased number of young people working in and starting up a social enterprise- Improved brand awareness, and marketing- Supporting collaboration, where 2 or more organisations are working together to trade- Delivering wider / deeper social and environmental impact- Increased capacity of and profile of the sector leading the way in Net Zero solutions

The Public Engagement Grant Scheme (PEGS) aims to support the IOP Limit Less campaign by improving the relationship with physics of young people and their influencers, including their parents and carers. This could be by showcasing relatable role models of those doing physics, actively challenging stereotypes and preconceptions, sharing positive messages about physics, and more!The grant looks to prioritise projects that reach families with young people under the age of 16 who identify with one or more of the following groups currently underrepresented in the physics community:- Girls and young women- Disabled young people- LGBT+ young people- Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds- Black Caribbean young people

Fife Council’s Culture Grants scheme aims to encourage and support creativity in local communities and will support activities in the following areas:- literature (includes writing, books, storytelling, readings, publishing)- performance (includes theatre, performance, drama, music and dance)- heritage (includes museums, libraries, archives and history)- audio-visual (includes film and video, radio, new media)- visual arts/crafts (includes art, painting, sculpture, crafts, design, fashion and architecture)Grants are available to start or develop creative activities within the group, to add to your group’s experience if you already have artistic or cultural aims, or to organise a cultural experience for group members

The Family Recovery Initiative Fund can offer one-off grants to groups that support families affected by alcohol and drugs in Scotland. Its aim is to improve the wellbeing of family members affected by someone else’s substance misuse. Well-being is improved by social inclusion, because people connect with other people, can participate in group activities, and can access support. It is funded by the Scottish Government Substance Misuse Unit. The fund can support a variety of activities including set up costs, running costs, training, events, marketing, travel, activities and networking.

The Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF) contributes to the costs associated with meeting required registration qualification criteria set by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and to help employers in achieving a qualified workforce.Around £750,000 is available during 2024-25 to contribute to costs associated with staff meeting the required registration qualification criteria set by the SSSC. They would particularly like small and medium-sized organisations to apply. Workers eligible for support this year are: social care workers at the level of support worker, practitioner and supervisor, providing care at home service, housing support service or care home service for adults.Funding is available for SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 6 or 7. For 2024-2025, the SSSC and Scottish Government would encourage level 7 applications to support supervisors who have had an extension to their qualification condition and still have to gain their practice qualification.
