A chance to meet and speak to the Scottish Government's Fair Work Policy and Delivery team, as well as learn more about the updates to the Fair Work First policy.
- Overall aim
This event aims to provide organisations with dedicated face time with the Scottish Government's Fair Work Policy and Delivery team. There will be time to ask questions regarding Fair Work First and share experiences of implementing the principles.
- Description
At this event we will be joined by colleagues from the Scottish Government’s Fair Work Policy and Delivery team.
The team will offer an introduction and update on the Scottish Government’s Fair Work First policy, including the new criteria conditionality requiring those in receipt of public sector grants to pay at least the real Living Wage and provide appropriate channels for effective workers’ voice.
The team will also share any resources available to support organisations to understand and implement the Fair Work First principles.
A Q&A will follow where participants are encouraged to ask questions about the principles and Fair Work more broadly and to share any experiences of the implementation of the Fair Work First principles.
