The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations is the membership organisation for Scotland's charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises. Charity registered in Scotland SC003558. Registered office Mansfield Traquair Centre, 15 Mansfield Place, Edinburgh EH3 6BB.

We work with a wide range of voluntary organisations to make sure we really understand the environment voluntary organisations in Scotland operate in and the effect of this on the work of the sector.

Funding and procurement

Our funding and procurement team are interested in learning from organisations that receive public sector funding. We would like to understand your experiences to inform our policy for the 2023/24 Scottish Budget and our wider influencing activity during the cost-of-living crisis.

Partnerships with the public sector

Future regulation

Our future regulation team are busy preparing plans for engagement on a number of issues we expect to see activity on in the coming months, including access to banking, changes to Scottish charity law and a potential expansion of Freedom of Information legislation.
