- Overview
Join Suzanne Begley to hear insights from the latest edition of the charity AI playbook. The landmark free guide has been given a major update, enabling charities of all sizes to start using AI strategically and in line with their values.
- Description
AI is useful for charities now. Not in theory, not with caveats, not in 2027. Practical applications work and most organisations can start getting value out of them today. That's a shift from a year ago, when the first edition of this playbook was written, when a lot of charity leaders hadn't tried AI themselves yet. Most now have, and the conversation has moved on from "should we?" to "where does this actually help?"
The organisations getting the most from AI don't start with the technology. They start with something they already understand well: feedback they can't get through fast enough, donors they're losing and not knowing why, case notes that sit unread because nobody has time. AI turns out to be good at exactly that kind of work. But it only gets you somewhere useful if someone who understands the problem is driving it.
Suzanne is a strategic leader in nonprofit digital transformation, with over two decades of experience helping organisations amplify their social impact. As co-founder and former director of the award-winning agency Public Life, she has shaped digital strategies and services for prominent charities including Mencap, Macmillan Cancer Support and YoungMinds.
